Hi, I’m Christy.
I am an author-turned-editor/book coach with a keen eye for detail and a heart for telling stories. I help writers exit the echo chamber of their own thoughts by providing valuable feedback, clarity, accountability to reach their goals, and answers to their burning questions about the writing and publishing process.
If you’re looking for someone to double-check your grammar and sharpen up your sentences, I can do that, too! As an experienced and highly trained copyeditor, I read through every line of your manuscript with a meticulous eye—examining everything from comma usage to word choice. I double-check spellings of names and places, ensure you are following the Chicago Manual of Style, point out unclear phrasing, and make comments and suggestions in regard to tone. Let me focus on the technical stuff so you can focus on writing!
About Me: I am a self-published author, a freelance editor, a mom, a wife, and a native Californian. I love dinner parties, exploring new neighborhoods, and creating art with words. I am also working slowly but surely on penning my first novel. I have an Editing Certificate from the University of Chicago and a Masters Degree in American Literature. Think of me as your collaborator and your second set of eyes. I am here to encourage and to help shape your manuscript into a book you will truly be proud of.
